How much should it cost to repair/replace my brake discs.?
I’ve just failed an MOT today due to excessive wear of front nearside and offside brake discs. How much roughly should it cost to repair/replace these.
My car is a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Active if that’s relevant.

The discs are quite cheap if you aviod buyin g them from a Vx dealer. Should cost no more than £50 the pair. You also need to change the pads as well when you change discs as the old ones will have worn to the shape of the old discs – no more than £30 a set non-Vx. Labour to do them around £50 at a smaller independent garage. the likes of Kwik fit will charge more and give a practically useless lifetime guarantee which sounds good but you probably won’t have the car when they need doing next.
